Grandad Arthur Hughes, of Malpas, Cheshire, who was a member of the Craft in St. Oswalds Lodge No. 2992, would perhaps have been very proud of them.”

Palestine Preceptory No. 217 Installation

The Palestine Preceptory, No. 217, met for the first time since 2020 to install Kt. Steve Parker as Eminent Preceptor for the ensuing year. A case of Provincial Webmaster becoming an Eminent Preceptor.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Prov.Sub. Prior for Cheshire & North Wales, Em. Kt. Peter J. Butler, PDGSwdBr, accompanied by E.Kt. Fraser Fowlie, Dep.Gt.Marshal. However, it was also a sad occasion as the previous Eminent Preceptor, E. Kt. Paul Grice had passed away whilst still in office.
