The Preceptory, originally meeting at Stockport Masonic Guildhall, surrended it’s Warrant in 2017 but subsequently has been resuscitated to form the Bodyguard Preceptory for the Province of Cheshire and North Wales. Its first meeting as such was held on 3 May 2018, when the Provincial Prior, Right Eminent Knight Dr. Anthony George Mathie was Installed into the chair by the Provincial Sub Prior, Eminent Knight Alan Pierce, JP.<\/div>\n
